Zucchini Blossom (10 minute) Appetizer

  • 8-12 Fresh Zucchini Blossoms
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • lard for frying (you can use coconut oil if you prefer)
  • (salt to taste)
  1. Go through the zucchini blossoms to make sure they are clean and undamaged.
  2. Whisk the eggs lightly.
  3. Roll the blossoms gently into the eggs, then n the almond flour.
  4. Heat fat in a skillet.
  5. Fry blossoms until golden on both sides.
  6. Drip off excess fat on a paper bag /towel.
  7. Serve hot.
